Boston improviser: Bryce Read

Bryce Read

Bryce Read is a real nice guy, and as absurd as he is tall. Currently, Bryce performs in ImprovBoston’s Mainstage, directs ImprovBoston’s Family Show, and can be seen in his two-man show, The Bigfoot Monologues. Bryce holds a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Salem State College (now “University,” psssh), where he performed in a myriad of theatrical productions and co-founded, directed, wrote for, and performed in “America’s favorite improv and sketch comedy troupe,” Grandma’s 3rd Leg! Bryce has since completed the improvisation training center at Improv Asylum, where he later performed in the NXT cast. Other credits include Too Darn Hot at the Tribe Theater; as well as TiVo Nation, French Kiss Me Kate, Gorefests 5,6 and 8, and Blowing the Hatch: Lost Scenes from TV’s LOST, at ImprovBoston.
