Boston improviser: Joshua Michel

Joshua Michel

Josh took an improv class at the age of 13 hoping he could be as funny as Monty Python.

A few years later he attended an improv workshop his highschool theater teacher was doing in hopes to get more people to audition for the next year's play. Instead, Josh and a group of people founded the Yellow Submarine Improv Troupe where he directed and performed from 1999-2002. And a lifetime passion was formed. Josh has been performing ever since, most recently with ImprovBoston's Harold team: The Buskers, and with the now dead but incredibly artistically fulfilling sketch group: MOSAIC (2007-2012)
